Stephen Bruce was born in Oakland, Ca., and grewup in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Spent a quarter century as one of the battered links in the fabled Thin Blue Line.
Today, he’s a licensed California Private Investigator, who, when not inquiring, is reading or writing.

'Killing Julia' is his first novel.
